EVERYONE LOVES THIS ONE...SO DO I
Bill Cosby "I'm 76 and Tired"
"I'm 76 and Tired" Worth reading.....
This should be required reading for every man, woman and child inJamaica, the UK , United States of America , Canada , Australia and New Zealandandto all the world...
"I'm 76 and I'm Tired"
I'm 76. Except for brief period in the 50's when I was doing my NationalService, I've worked hard since I was 17. Except for some some serioushealth challenges, I put in 50-hour weeks, and didn't call in sick in nearly40 years. I made a reasonable salary, but I didn't inherit my job or myincome, and I worked to get where I am. Given the economy, it looks asthough retirement was a bad idea, and I'm tired. Very tired.
I'm tired of being told that I have to "spread the wealth" to people whodon't have my work ethic. I'm tired of being told the government will takethe money I earned, by force if necessary, and give it to people too lazyto earn it.
I'm tired of being told that Islam is a "Religion of Peace," when every day Ican read dozens of stories of Muslim men killing their sisters, wives anddaughters for their family "honor"; of Muslims rioting over some slightoffense; of Muslims murdering Christian and Jews because they aren't"believers"; of Muslims burning schools for girls; of Muslims stoningteenage rape victims to death for "adultery"; of Muslims mutilating thegenitals of little girls; all in the name of Allah, because the Qur'an andShari'a law tells them to.
I'm tired of being told that out of "tolerance for other cultures" we must letSaudi Arabia and other Arab countries use our oil money to fund mosquesand madrassa Islamic schools to preach hate in Australia , New Zealand ,UK, America and Canada , while no one from these countries are allowed tofund a church, synagogue or religious school in Saudi Arabia or any otherArab country to teach love and tolerance..
I'm tired of being told I must lower my living standard to fight globalwarming, which no one is allowed to debate.
I'm tired of being told that drug addicts have a disease, and I must helpsupport and treat them, and pay for the damage they do. Did a giant germrush out of a dark alley, grab them, and stuff white powder up their nosesor stick a needle in their arm while they tried to fight it off?
I'm tired of hearing wealthy athletes, entertainers and politicians of allparties talking about innocent mistakes, stupid mistakes or youthfulmistakes, when we all know they think their only mistake was gettingcaught. I'm tired of people with a sense of entitlement, rich or poor.
I'm really tired of people who don't take responsibility for their lives andactions. I'm tired of hearing them blame the government, or discriminationor big-whatever for their problems.
I'm also tired and fed up with seeing young men and women in their teens andearly 20's be-deck them selves in tattoos and face studs, thereby makingthemselves un-employable and claiming money from the Government. Yes, I'm damn tired. But I'm also glad to be 76.. Because, mostly, I'm notgoing to have to see the world these people are making. I'm just sorry formy granddaughter and her children. Thank God I'm on the way out and noton the way in.
There is no way this will be widely publicized, unless each of ussends it on!
This is your chance to make a difference.

WOMEN IN HARM'S WAY
I read recently that there have been over a hundred female soldiers killed in Iraq. Now I know I come from a bygone era where women were protected from harm. Back in the day, there would have been an outcry like you never heard if even one woman had been killed over there. I watch the news broadcasts from Syria and other countries where violence is almost a part of life for them. Every time I see a woman in front of the camera with bombs exploding behind her. One of our female reporters was in a country where women are forced to wear those black sheets that covers everything but the eyes. She was walking along down a street while she was interviewing someone, and soon was being pelted with rocks by the residents. Why? Who knows? They are all crazy over there in the first place.
I know I'm old-fashioned, but should we be sending female reporters to a country that has such low regard for women? I know it is fashionable to put women in everything these days, but is it that so important that we put them in harm's way? For God's sakes, would it be that politically incorrect to send a man over there? Actually, it would seem to be much too dangerous to send anyone into places like that. I have emailed CBS and ABC with my aforementioned concerns, and, of course, heard nothing from them.
I have asked friends for their opinions and was pretty much told that they asked for it. I know I'm out-of-touch with today's world, but does anyone care that women are being sent to places where their lives are in jeopardy? Please, let me know what you think. Hit the COMMENT thing at the bottom of this blog and give me your opinion. I'm so old fashion that I actually open the door for my wife and walk on the outside of the sidewalk as a protective gesture.

AMAZINGLY SIMPLE HOME REMEDIES:
1. AVOID CUTTING YOURSELF WHEN SLICING VEGETABLES BY GETTING SOMEONE ELSE TO HOLD THE VEGETABLES WHILE YOU CHOP.
2. AVOID ARGUMENTS WITH THE FEMALES ABOUT LIFTING THE TOILET SEAT BY USING THE SINK.
3. FOR HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE SUFFERERS ~ SIMPLY CUT YOURSELF AND BLEED FOR A FEW MINUTES, THUS REDUCING THE PRESSURE ON YOUR VEINS. REMEMBER TO USE A TIMER.
4. A MOUSE TRAP PLACED ON TOP OF YOUR ALARM CLOCK WILL PREVENT YOU FROM ROLLING OVER AND GOING BACK TO SLEEP AFTER YOU HIT THE SNOOZE BUTTON.
5. IF YOU HAVE A BAD COUGH, TAKE A LARGE DOSE OF LAXATIVES. THEN YOU'LL BE AFRAID TO COUGH.
6. YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.
7. IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU'VE GOT AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.
DAILY THOUGHT :
SOME PEOPLE ARE LIKE SLINKIES - NOT REALLY GOOD FOR ANYTHING BUT THEY BRING A SMILE TO YOUR FACE WHEN PUSHED DOWN THE STAIRS.

A JOKE THAT HAS MEANING IN TODAY'S WORLD
It's late fall and the Indians on a remote reservation in Oklahoma asked their new chief if the coming winter was going to be cold or mild. He wasn't real sure, so to be on the safe side, he told his tribe that the winter was indeed going to be cold and that the members of the village should collect firewood to be prepared.
After several days, he got to thinking about it and called the National Weather Service and asked, "Is the coming winter going to be cold?"
"It looks like this winter is going to be quite cold," the meteorologist said.
So the chief went back to his people and told them to collect even more firewood to be prepared.
A week later , he called the National Weather Service again. "Does it still look like it's going to be a cold winter?"
"Yes," the man at the National Weather Service replied. "It's going to be a very cold winter."
The chief again went back to his people and ordered them to collect every scrap of firewood they could find.
Two weeks later, the chief called the National Weather Service again. "Are you absolutely sure this winter is going to be very cold?"
"Absolutely," the man replied. "It's looking more and more like it's going to be one of the coldest winters we've ever seen."
"How can you be so sure?" asked the chief.
The weatherman replied, "The Indians are collecting a ton of firewood."
